The Heartland Partnership Family of Companies to Relocate to Peoria’s Riverfront Village
(Peoria) – The Heartland Partnership will be relocating from its 3rd floor space in the Chase Bank building, to a more visible location on Peoria’s riverfront. The Partnership, which includes the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce, the Economic Development Council for Central Illinois, TransPORT (Heart of Illinois Regional Port District) and Peoria NEXT will be moving to 100 SW Water St. in Peoria, effective April 9th, 2008.
The Heartland Partnership family of companies act as a hub for regional growth activity and the office welcomes over 900 visitors each week. The new riverfront location will allow for added convenience for our visitors, as well as serve as a catalyst for riverfront redevelopment.
“It’s a symbolic move for us, that increases our visibility within the community. The new space will have a sleek contemporary look with a variety of conference rooms and working environments. One major conference room will function as the gathering place for regional civic leaders at regular intervals,” said Jim McConoughey CEO of The Heartland Partnership.
Heartland Partnership Special Projects Director, Kip McCoy, holds confidence that the moving process will be a smooth one. “Our team has been working for several months, with numerous stakeholders, to minimize any disruption of service. We anticipate being open for business in our new location by Monday, April 14th.”
Effective April 9, 2008, The Heartland Partnership’s new address is:
The Heartland Partnership
100 SW Water Street
Peoria, IL 61602-1329
Phone numbers for the office and individual employees will remain the same.
